Tagaytay Surprise Dinner
Last week, Lester surprised me with dinner at Fire Lake Grill in Tagaytay. We shared this beautiful 700g pepper rubbed steak and it was glorious! THE STEAK WAS HUGE, YOU GUYS. Around 6 inches in length and it was extremely thick. Just thinking about it is making me drool.
BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD. Full entry will be up tomorrow :)

Four cheese margherita pizza
This was the most favored dish from everything I made. It is also very simple and easy to make.
I marinated sliced tomatoes in chopped garlic and olive oil for an entire day. This is what made the pizza really really flavorful. I brushed the oil mixture on the pizza dough before topping it with layers of mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan and feta cheese. Next I added chopped basil leaves and the...

Chorizo, basil and tomato pizza
My mom had a party the other night and she asked me to cook for her friends. One of the dishes I made was this very simple but delicious pizza!
I simply topped my pizza dough with a layer of Italian pizza sauce, and topped it with shredded mozzarella cheese. Next I added chopped basil, thinly sliced tomatoes, bell peppers and Spanish chorizo. Very very easy. Baked for 10 minutes!

Cream cheese stuffed cupcakes
Yes, you read that right. I baked cream cheese stuffed cupcakes the other day and they were an instant hit with everyone. I made a combination of devil’s food and red velvet cupcakes.
Fresh from the oven. Look at them being all cute and fluffy!
I made home-made icing too out of confectioner’s sugar (around 3/4 of a cup), 1 tsp vanilla, 2 tbsps of cocoa, and 2 tbsps of milk.
And...

Sinful nutella cookies
Behold, my personal favorite: Nutella cookies! Each cookie holds 1,000,000+++ calories but I don’t give a frack. It’s like eating nutella off a spoon but 10x better. I bake these when I feel like pigging out, which is like, every day of my life. The above photo are Nutella cookies that I baked for Lester when he visited my house a few days ago.

Homemade chocolate chip cookies
I always cook + bake a lot during the holidays so I’ve decided to share some photos. Here is a tray full of my fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookies. And because I’m feeling quite in the spirit of sharing, here is my recipe (taking it from the top of my head so I hope I don’t miss anything!):
Deane’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
Chocolate chips
2 cups of...

Breakfast in Tagaytay
Today my friends and I decided to eat breakfast in Tagaytay.
In true Pinoy fashion, we ended up leaving the city late and so breakfast turned to brunch. The road was lovely and clear though, so it didn’t take long before we ended up in our destination.
We decided to grab a bite in Bag of Beans, which is pretty much the restaurant of choice by many who visit Tagaytay.
Lester and...
