Breakfast in Tagaytay
Today my friends and I decided to eat breakfast in Tagaytay.
In true Pinoy fashion, we ended up leaving the city late and so breakfast turned to brunch. The road was lovely and clear though, so it didn’t take long before we ended up in our destination.

We decided to grab a bite in Bag of Beans, which is pretty much the restaurant of choice by many who visit Tagaytay.

Lester and Lawrence ordered hot white mocha. They served it with this pretty latte art of what seems to be a duck or swan.

I ordered their Sunrise Breakfast (PHP 275.00) which consisted of cheese omelette, sausage and two buttermilk pancakes.

And of course, what breakfast is complete without bacon? One side-order of bacon strips cost me PHP 95.00.

As for my drink, I had a tall glass of chocolate milkshake!

I was so full at the end of my meal, I swear I felt my tummy grow a few inches.
Bag of Beans renovated by the way. The view is far prettier now, as you can really see the expanse of Tagaytay and Taal.

I wonder who lives in that house.

Lester and I were both trying to get good shots of the view.
Before eating breakfast, we passed by Mr. Moo to try out their fresh milk. When I took a sip of their choco cow milk, I swear to God, it was heaven! It tasted so delicious and fresh and oh my god, was it perfect. I bought a lot of bottles as it was so frakking good. One small bottle is around PHP 29.00 and a liter is around PHP 89.00. I swear, it was so worth it. I don’t have pictures but I was able to take shots of their stall on our way home.

We of course, bought even more for us to bring home. I got my mom a bottle of Carabao Milk as pasalubong.

You can choose from Carabao, Cow or Goat, and they even have cheese! I swear, I wanted to take home everything.
Of course, we had to take a quick peek at the outlet stores in Solenad on our way home.

The above photo is me at Aldo Liquidation. SHOES GALORE. I wanted take home a pair of rain boots, but they looked so worn out already. Maybe I can just ask my tita to send some home from the U.S.
I wore my favorite boots, of course.

The ride home was peaceful. I really love small out of town breaks to escape from the clutter of Manila.

Fields make me happy.

My favorite part of the trip was how the sun cast its golden rays upon us all. Everything seemed to glow beautifully.

Can’t wait for the next road trip. I love days like these.
